Privacy & analytics

Updated October 21, 2026.

This page explains the optional website analytics used on saintcaps.com.

Your choice comes first

For visitors identified as being in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google Analytics stays off until “Allow analytics” is selected. When a visitor is identified as being elsewhere, analytics starts automatically unless they have previously declined it or their browser sends Global Privacy Control. If the country cannot be determined, analytics stays off and we ask first.

Choose “No thanks” in Analytics preferences to disable analytics in any country. You can change your choice in the footer on any page. We store only your explicit preference in your browser; automatic regional activation is not recorded as your consent.

The country decision uses the approximate country provided by our existing hosting infrastructure. A same-site request returns only a country code. This feature does not store your IP address or use a separate geolocation provider.

What analytics measures

When enabled, Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish browsers and sessions. These counts are estimates of browser activity, not a verified count of individual people. We do not ask you for your name or email to browse the site, send these details to Analytics, or enable Google advertising personalization in this tag.

Google and external links

Google processes analytics data under its own policies. See Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from partner sites. External services such as Instagram and Stan have their own privacy policies when you follow their links.

Changing your choice

Declining analytics stops this website from sending further analytics events and removes Google Analytics cookies accessible to this site. It does not erase information already sent to Google. Your analytics preference remains saved until you change it or clear this site’s browser storage.
